Construction of a 1000 l IBC container
A standard IBC combines an HDPE bottle, a galvanised mesh cage and a pallet with a drain outlet (DN50 tap). Dimensions are about 1200 × 1000 × 1160 mm, so it fits a standard pallet position and racking.

New, reconditioned or used
Choose a new IBC for food, chemicals and pharma (full hygiene and certificate). A reconditioned one (washed new bottle in a used cage) is a price–quality compromise. FAQ
How many litres is an IBC? The most common is 1000 l; 600 and 640 l versions are also available.
Is an IBC suitable for drinking water? Only a new one with a food-contact certified HDPE bottle; used ones suit technical water and rainwater.
Can IBC containers be stacked? Yes – usually 2–3 layers when full, depending on cage and pallet design.
