My Water, Rainwater Subsidies

Another call for applications for the second installment of the " My Water" program has been launched.
Under the project, households can receive up to 80 percent funding. 5 thousand zlotys to cover the cost of a water installation to manage rainwater and snowmelt.

Last year, almost 25 thousand Polish families benefited from the subsidy.

The program makes it possible to achieve very tangible savings in water bills at the family level, but this chain of savings also translates into the municipality, for the reason that when we have, for example, snowmelt rains, water supply and sewage networks are not overloaded. Rainwater, snowmelt water that hits households is retained here, stored and used here.

Thanks to the investments made under the first stage of the "My Water" program, the water retention capacity in Poland has been increased by one million cubic meters. The program is an initiative of the Climate Ministry and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, and its goal is to mitigate the effects of drought in Poland.
