Self-tipping containers, also known as tipping skips, are steel containers with a quick-discharge mechanism. They allow you to collect, sort and safely empty chips, production waste, scrap, recyclables or wet waste – without manual handling and without the risk of spillage. The model KLSS2 is intended for lighter waste, such as: film, wood or cardboard. You lift the container with a forklift, drive over the bin and, with a single movement of a lever or cord, tip the container; after discharge the skip automatically returns to its working position.

Why it's worth it

In practice, tipping skips save time and labour: the worker does not have to dump waste by hand, fewer forklift trips = lower cycle cost. The construction of thick sheet metal, reinforced edges and fork pockets ensure stable transport, while safeguards against uncontrolled discharge increase safety on the floor. For corrosive environments you can choose a galvanised finish.

How it works

The tipping mechanism works by gravity or is assisted (spring/lever). The operator releases the lock from the forklift, the skip tilts, and the load falls out in a controlled stream. After driving away and lowering the forks, the container returns to its starting position on its own and locks.
