Oil sorbents are specialised materials designed to selectively absorb oils, fuels, lubricants and other petroleum-based liquids while repelling water (hydrophobic properties). This makes them ideal for both indoor and outdoor conditions, including on water surfaces.
These products are usually made of polypropylene fibres with a microporous structure, which ensures high sorption capacity, resistance to industrial oils and ease of disposal.

Types of oil sorbents available:

  • Oil mats - for catching spills from under machinery and equipment
  • Floating sleeves and dams - for containment of spills on land and water
  • Sorption pads - for spot oil collection in hard-to-reach areas
  • Oil granules - for rapid protection of large areas

Technical features:
