Spill Pallets and Work Floors: What Are They Used For and How Do They Differ?

Sump pallets are used for storing and storing oil in drums.

 

Sump trays and simple under-drum oil capture pallets protect against environmental contamination that can be caused by spills of lubricating oils and other hazardous chemicals.

 

Pallets under drums are designed for storing containers of chemicals in manufacturing plants, warehouses, farms, depots, ports, workshops, etc.

Catch pallets under drums prevent spilling of chemicals when emptying or filling drums on them.

In addition, you can also purchase sump pallets specially constructed for IBCs with a capacity of 1050 liters.

 

 

HOW DOES A DRUM PALLET DIFFER FROM A DRUM FLOOR?

 

Drum sumppallets are much deeper than drum floors, which means they have a higher catch capacity.

On the other hand, the working floors, thanks to their lower height, can be combined with each other to form larger working areas and use special overrun ramps to facilitate forklift access. In the case of pallets for drums, there is no such possibility.
