Plastic Pallet Boxes Made from Regranulate
Published on: 21-04-2021
Plastic is everywhere. Wherever we look it surrounds us. Is it possible to replace plastic with something else? The whole world is looking for an effective alternative, but currently recycling works best. Plastic is as recyclable as paper, we can give it a second life, we just have to let it.
Containers for recycling are segregated, shredded, ground and reprocessed. In terms of material quality and properties, regranulate is in no way inferior to new material. Often, newly created containers are mixed in terms of raw material, such as blends of: 50% HDPE + 50% HDPER
An example of such a mixture is our group of box pallets, which are characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and chemical resistance (to acids and alkalis) and UV rays. Box pallets are approved for contact with food, they are ideal for the food industry, especially in the transportation and storage of fruits, and vegetables.
Thanks to the partial use of regranulate, we were able to achieve a more affordable price for the product, which also has an impact on company budget planning. The proposed box pallets with admixture of regranulate are equally durable. They achieve the same static and dynamic strengths as pure plastic boxes.
The advantages of reusable transport packaging are obvious: saving costs while saving other valuable resources. Even the best plastic container, will eventually wear out. That's why by recycling, we can use it again in a new way.

Automated systems (AS/RS, conveyors, wrappers) require pallets with a repeatable dimension, constant weight and a flat underside — so HDPE plastic pallets outperform wood. No protruding nails or splinters means no line jams.
